This page is a collection of resources for Scouts working on the Engineering Merit badge.
Book and Requirements
The Engineering Merit Badge pamphlet can be purchased from either of the local Scout stores (Tecumseh or Miami Valley Council) or directly from the BSA. At this time (February 2010), the Troop library does not have a current copy of the book, although there are several old copies which may be useful. The BSA web page also has a copy of the engineering merit badge requirements.
Aids to Requirements
The following are handouts which may be useful in completing some of the merit badge requirements:
- For Requirement 5, the attached handout provides a more detailed overview of the systems engineering method than the one in the Engineering pamphlet.
