In August, the Troop decided to hold a Canoeing Campout at Caesar’s Creek.
Saturday morning, the adults drove the scouts over to a boat ramp, where we rented canoes and launched onto the water. From there, we spent 6 hours paddling across the lake (about 7.5 miles) to return to our campsite, where we ate dinner and went to bed.
