This year’s Catholic Camporee was hosted at Camp Friedlander.
Friday Evening and Saturday Morning
After everyone arrived at camp, we said Night Prayer (Compline) from Liturgy of the Hours as a camp before going to bed. The next morning, we ate breakfast and said Morning Prayer (Lauds) at individual campsites before going out to do morning activities. There were 3 activities before lunch: a first aid challenge (pictured below) where patrols had to try and diagnose various “victims” and figure out how best to help them, a class to earn the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary patch, and a water rescue challenge (or, for the other group, a class for the Blessed Carlo Acutis patch).

Saturday Afternoon
After lunch, there were 2 more activities: a class for the Blessed Carlo Acutis patch (or, for the other group, the water rescue challenge), and a vocations panel. Then, we went back to camp for some downtime.
Saturday Evening and Sunday Morning

That night, everyone returned to the dining hall with food for a potluck dinner, which was followed by Evening Prayer (Vespers). After that, a priest came in to say Mass for us (as pictured), and then we said Compline before eating dessert, finishing our collections of tradable prayer cards, and going to bed.
The next morning, after breakfast and breaking camp, everyone met back in the dining hall to say Lauds together before heading home.
